30 yr old Recommendation: This is one of the many viewpoints along the North rim of the Grand Canyon. The access is easy so this is a good place to take beginner hikers. Since you'll still have energy after this short hike, it's best to hike some of the other hikes in the area, such as Cape Final and Cliff Spring. This is an Easy hike.

Hike to Cape Royal on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National park, Arizona.

From the parking area, follow the paved path towards Cape Royal viewpoint. Although the path doesn't remain paved, it is easy to follow and well signed for the duration. To the left, there is a spur trail to Angels Window viewpoint. Continuing straight leads to the views from Point Royal.

These two viewpoints reveal good views of Vishnu temple, furnace flats, and the Unkar Delta area of the Grand Canyon. You can also see the Colorado River from here. After enjoying the views, return the way you came.
